The LT8491 is an 80V buck-boost switching regulator battery charger well suited for sealed lead-acid, flooded, gel and lithium-ion batteries.
It operates from an input voltage that can be above, below or equal to the output voltage, making it ideal for use with a solar panel or a DC power source. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) exacts the most power in solar applications. The LT8491 performs automatic temperature compensation by sensing battery temperature.
