Arrow Electronics Kicks Off 21st Annual ArrowfestNorth American Technology Exhibition Launches Sept. 17 in Chicago MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 11, 2009-- Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:ARW) kicks off its annual Arrowfest exhibition this fall, launching a multicity, coast-to-coast tour for its North American Components customers and manufacturers. Arrowfest begins its 21st consecutive year on Sept. 17, in Chicago. Arrowfest provides a forum for current and potential Arrow customers to learn about the latest innovations in technology and build valuable relationships with leading manufacturers and Arrow representatives. More than 2,500 industry professionals attend Arrowfest each year, including design engineers, original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers, purchasing/procurement representatives, and supply chain professionals. Arrow has teamed-up with leading manufacturers to offer technical seminars that address issues relevant to the local marketplace at each Arrowfest location. Seminar topics include lighting, health care technology, sensing, embedded networking, wireless communications, power solutions and more.
